2003-11-04 - 5:10 p.m. It's Tuesday, it's November and it's hot outside. My little boy wore shorts to school today and then of course as soon as he got home fell in the driveway and skinned up both knees. He'll live, but it took a half-hour of coddling and sympathy to convince him. The muggy weather just seems to drain the life out of you. I couldn't sleep last night because it felt like a sauna in the house. I'm ready for the cool weather to come. I'm glad I don't live in Miami or L.A. where the seasons don't change that drastically. Georgia has a nice mix, although our winters can be mild and our summers extreme. But there is a definite change of weather. But 80 degrees in November is a bit much!
