2004-01-02 - 5:43 p.m. I have 2 days of winter vacation left and I am trying my best to enjoy them. My son and I packed up and headed south to go to my dad's so that we can spend the evening in the hot tub. He has a wood fire-heated redwood hot tub and it is outside, so if you get in at night it's like being in your own private hot spring. It is wonderfully relaxing and I haven't had the time to come down and soak my troubles away in over a year! So I couldn't resist one last hurrah before getting back to the grind of school. I am dreading this semester, but I am trying to think positively. After all, fall semester (my first semester of nursing classes) was actually easier than I thought it would be. There was a lot of work, some of it that I don't think was necessary, but at least it wasn't like my chemistry class. I thought my brain was going to explode during the tests!
