2004-01-26 - 4:03 p.m. First, sorry about the last entry. I don't usually just paste something up with no explanation, but I wasn't sure if it would show up. I'll go back and fix it later. Today is our first Snow Day of the year. We haven't had any snow, just tons of ice. But my son's school was closed today and the nursing school started late, but I got e-mails saying that my classes were cancelled, so yay!!! Especially since I had a test at 9 this morning! I decided to knit a scarf for myself and cast on for that. I have made my mom, my husband, and my son scarves, but I've never made one for myself. I'm also working on my son's sweater. I'm half way through the second sleeve, so I am almost done. I still have to figure out how to put in a zipper though. It's a half-zip sweater in astroturf green. I think it will be really cute. I've never made a sweater before. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure out how to post a picture of some of my finished objects. In the meantime the weather folks are predicted more ice for the area tomorrow. So I will be able to get a lot of work done if that happens.
